K9 Officer
Officer Bio
Officer Parker Choate didn’t just stumble into police work—he trained his way into it, eight years deep and counting. Much like his four-legged counterpart, Parker began his career under the watchful eyes of seasoned K9 handlers from Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office where he started as an explorer, learning the ropes, the rules, and the art of staying calm when everything else goes sideways. Cool, collected, and steady, Parker is the kind of officer who makes chaos blink first. He’s not loud about it—he just shows up, handles business, and lets the results do the talking.
Enter Bandit: an eight-year-old Belgian Malinois with enough experience to qualify as a senior advisor. Bandit’s résumé is no joke—he kicked off his training with a K9 handler from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, then polished his skills at Gold Coast K9 in Moorpark, California. That’s where fate (and probably a lot of barking) brought him together with Parker. By the time Bandit joined the unit, he was ready to show everyone what made him the pick of the litter; armed with legendary sniffing skills and a work ethic that runs somewhere between “laser-focused” and “all gas, no brakes.”
Together, Parker and Bandit are the definition of opposites attracting—and absolutely dominating. Bandit brings the fire, the drive, and the relentless enthusiasm; Parker brings the calm, the strategy, and the unshakable cool-as-a-cucumber demeanor. In Littleton, they play an elite game of hide-and-seek with bad guys, track down narcotics with Bandit’s nose-for-crime, and prove daily that the right partnership makes all the difference. One human, one dog, perfectly in sync—crime doesn’t stand much of a chance.
